Firmness & facial contours

Changes in skin firmness, facial shape or volume.

If you are considering treatment, describe the change you have noticed and the features you would like to keep. Different procedures have different aims. Age or a change in appearance alone is not a reason to have treatment.

The change you have noticed

Be specific about what you want to discuss. Words such as lifting and contouring can mean different things, so ask what the proposed plan is intended to do.

Comparing approaches

Radiofrequency treatments, skin-quality products and fillers have different purposes and risks. They should not be treated as interchangeable options.

Limits and risks

Ask what is unlikely to change, what unwanted effects are possible and how they would be managed. A non-surgical procedure cannot guarantee the same result as another type of treatment.

Time to decide

Ask for a written plan and full quotation, including any review appointments. You can take time to consider it or decide against a procedure.
